FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you require a minimum length of sobriety?
Yes, we require a minimum of 2 weeks of sobriety. and committed to maintaining your sobriety. We welcome residents coming directly from detox or treatment.
Do you accept people on MAT (Suboxone, methadone, Vivitrol)?
Not at this moment, no.
Is there a minimum or maximum length of stay?
There is no fixed minimum or maximum. Most residents stay between 90 days and one year, though we encourage at least 90 days as research shows it significantly improves long-term recovery outcomes. You may stay as long as you are in good standing, paying rent, and actively working your recovery.
What happens if someone relapses?
A positive drug or alcohol test results in immediate removal from the house to protect the safety and sobriety of all residents. We handle this with compassion — we will help connect you with detox or treatment resources before you leave. Re-entry after a relapse is considered on a case-by-case basis after the resident has completed additional treatment.
Are there visiting hours?
Yes. Guests are welcome during designated visiting hours, typically between 8 AM and 8 PM. Guests are not permitted in bedrooms and may not spend the night. All guests must be sober while on the property.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking and vaping are permitted outside only, in the designated outdoor area. Smoking is not permitted inside the house at any time.
Is there on-site staff or a house manager?
Yes, a house manager is available and reachable at all times and is a fellow resident. The house manager lives on-site and conducts weekly walkthroughs and is the first point of contact for any house concerns.
Do you require attendance at AA/NA meetings?
We strongly encourage regular meeting attendance and most of our residents attend weekly. We do not mandate a specific number of meetings per week, however active participation in a recovery program — whether AA, NA, SMART Recovery, faith-based, or other — is an expectation of living here.
What's included in the monthly rent and what is the payment method?
Your monthly rent includes your furnished bedroom, all utilities (gas, electric, water), WiFi, use of all common areas, washer and dryer access, and participation in our house community. Personal groceries and personal toiletries are the resident's responsibility.
Rent is due on the 1st of each month. We accept payment via Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, Check or money order. A late fee of $50 applies after the 5th of the month. Cash is accepted, but not the preferred method.
Can residents bring their cars? What is the public transit like?
Not at this moment, no.
